Weekend backpacker and car camper from Colorado
Cal lives in Denver and spends most weekends camping and backpacking around Colorado, with a summer road trip or two thrown in. He writes about tents, sleeping bags and packs, and he cares most about gear that's comfortable, easy to set up and still holding up after a few seasons.

How Wild10 editors work
Wild10 rankings are researched from manufacturer specifications, retailer data and published outside sources, and any pick Wild10 has actually field tested is labeled as tested. Nobody pays for placement, brands do not see rankings before publication, and affiliate links never change the order of a list.
