The outer shell is a lightweight Arato 15 nylon, treated with DWR to shed light moisture, though this isn't a waterproof layer. Inside, it's insulated with 850 fill-power European white goose down, strategically placed using Arc'teryx's Down Composite Mapping. This system incorporates Coreloft synthetic insulation in areas prone to moisture, like the seat and lower legs, where down would quickly lose its loft.

In the field, these pants deliver exceptional warmth for their weight. They pack down remarkably small, making them an easy addition to a winter pack for minimal bulk.
