The stretch component in the fabric is noticeable and genuinely improves range of motion, which is a big plus when scrambling or climbing. It’s certainly not a bombproof hardshell, nor is it trying to be; instead, it positions itself as a lighter, more agile option for shedding sustained rain and wind without feeling restrictive.

From a construction standpoint, the jacket feels well-executed for its weight class. It features YKK Aquaguard zippers, a helmet-compatible hood with a single-pull adjustment, and adjustable cuffs and hem.
