Ultimate SuperCurve (Stabi-Lock)

Bob Lee Bows holds a revered spot in traditional archery, and the Ultimate SuperCurve with the Stabi-Lock system represents the pinnacle of their takedown lineup. Built squarely for discerning bowhunters and serious 3D shooters, this platform combines aggressive, high-energy limb geometry with an innovative toolless attachment design. The defining Stabi-Lock mechanism does away with traditional limb bolts and loose Allen keys entirely, utilizing a precision slide-and-lock internal connection that assembles quietly in seconds and locks up without a hint of play.

In the hand, the aggressive hook of the SuperCurve limbs fundamentally changes the draw cycle. It loads weight earlier in the stroke, meaning the back end pulls remarkably smooth without the abrupt stacking common to short traditional recurves. Paired with Bob Lee's dense, multi-laminate riser—frequently blending heavy phenolics with stabilized woods—the setup drives arrows with noticeably flat trajectories while deadening hand shock. Limb-tip recovery is fast and crisp, translating high kinetic energy to heavy hunting arrows without rattling your teeth on release.

The trade-offs here are typical of bespoke custom archery gear. The extreme limb hooks require a dedicated bow stringer and careful technique during setup, and the mass weight of the heavily reinforced riser will feel substantial compared to ultra-lightweight one-piece hunting bows. It commands a premium investment, but for hunters traveling across mountain ranges or packing bows into tight quarters who refuse to compromise on limb alignment and arrow speed, it sets an exceptional standard.
