This synthetic fill, coupled with a durable DRILITE® Loft 40D outer fabric, provides good wind resistance and decent water repellency, meaning light snow or condensation won't immediately compromise warmth. The full-length two-way YKK side zippers are a critical feature, allowing for easy donning and doffing without removing boots or skis, and also provide ventilation when moving between static periods.

While undoubtedly warm and robust, these are not activewear pants; their bulk and weight (around 700g for a size large) make them cumbersome for anything more than very slow, short movements.
