Common problems
Why don't I see an Install button in my browser?
Automatic install prompts only exist in Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet, Android). Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac requires the manual Share → Add to Home Screen or File → Add to Dock steps. Firefox on desktop and iOS cannot install web apps at all — use Chrome, Edge, or Safari, or bookmark wild10.com instead.
Add to Home Screen is missing on my iPhone.
Open wild10.com in Safari (not a link opened inside Facebook, Instagram, or another in-app browser), tap the Share button, then scroll the bottom row of the share sheet — Add to Home Screen may be below the visible actions. If it is still missing, tap Edit Actions and enable Add to Home Screen, or turn off Private Browsing, which hides the option on some iOS versions.
The install icon disappeared from my address bar.
The icon is hidden once the app is already installed. Check your Start menu, Applications folder, or chrome://apps (edge://apps). Uninstall the existing app if you want to reinstall it, then reload wild10.com.
The installed app shows old content or a blank screen.
That is a stale cache. Pull to refresh inside the app, or open wild10.com/install/troubleshooting?sw=off in your browser — the sw=off switch clears the offline worker and its caches. Then close and reopen the installed app.
Does the app work offline?
Pages, planners, and images you have already opened stay available offline. New destinations, new recipes, AI trip generation, and Basecamp syncing all need a connection. Anything you change offline in a planner is saved locally and syncs when you reconnect.
Why doesn't installing work in the Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok browser?
In-app browsers block installation. Tap the ⋯ menu inside that app and choose Open in Safari or Open in Chrome, then install from there.
Can I install more than one Wild10 app?
Yes. Each planner (Trip, Recipe, Loadout, Lure, Packing) ships its own app identity. Open the planner page first, then install — you get a separate icon and shortcuts for that planner.
How do I uninstall?
iPhone or iPad: press and hold the icon → Remove App. Android: press and hold → Uninstall. Windows/macOS: open the installed app, click the ⋯ menu in its window, and choose Uninstall. Uninstalling never deletes your Basecamp account data.
Will the app update itself?
Yes. The Wild10 updates in the background whenever you open it online — there is no store review or manual download. If an update seems stuck, use the Clear offline cache button on this page.
Still stuck? The site works fully in any modern browser without installing — the app is a convenience, never a requirement.
