This pad is built with their Spaceframe Baffles, which provide a stable and supportive sleep surface while integrating two layers of Thermal Mirror metalized film. This unique construction provides an R-value of 5.4, making it suitable for year-round use outside of extreme winter conditions. The pad inflates to a comfortable 3 inches thick, which offers good cushioning. The fabric choice of 20D polyester feels substantial and has proven quite durable in our testing, shrugging off minor abrasions that might give thinner pads pause. One of its best features is the included Vortex pump sack, which makes inflation incredibly quick and easy. Noise-wise, it's one of the quieter insulated pads we've tested, which is a major plus.
