What our reviewers liked and didn't
De Havilland Pant
- Exceptional full-length ventilation zips for temperature regulation
- Excellent mobility and comfort for strenuous climbs
- Lightweight and packable, ideal for backcountry hunts
- Quick-drying fabric for variable weather conditions
- Durable enough for rugged alpine environments
- Limited insulation, not suited for cold static hunting without layering
- Premium price point may be a barrier for some hunters
- DWR is effective for light moisture but not a substitute for rain gear
Double Tin Pants
- Unmatched thorn and abrasion resistance
- Exceptional long-term durability, truly heirloom quality
- Water-resistant in damp conditions
- Develops unique character with age and use
- Made to withstand decades of heavy labor
- Very heavy and stiff, especially when new
- Poor breathability; can be hot in warm weather
- Significant break-in period required
- Higher price point than many alternatives
