The MSR WindBurner Duo System takes the excellent wind resistance and efficiency of the Reactor and scales it into a more versatile package for two people. Like the Reactor, it uses a highly efficient radiant burner that is almost immune to the effects of wind, making it ideal for exposed campsites or high-altitude cooking. This integrated system comes with a 1.8-liter pot, perfect for boiling enough water for two dehydrated meals or ample hot drinks. The cozy on the pot adds insulation and makes it comfortable to handle, and the lid has a useful strainer and pour spout. What sets the WindBurner apart from the Reactor for general backpacking is its slightly improved flame control, allowing for a bit more finesse when simmering, though it's still primarily a water-boiling machine.
