  • •80 ml milk
  • •2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • •1 tsp whole grain mustard
  • •4 potatoes
  • •125 g green beans
  • •salt
  • •4 pieces salmon fillet
  • •2-3 sprigs dill
  • •8 sheets foil

Equipment

  • • fire

  3. 3Wash and slice potatoes into thin slices.
  4. 4Prepare foil sheets by doubling them. Layer potato slices, season with salt, and add sour cream mixture before folding into packets.
  5. 5Cook potato packets in the fire for 20-25 minutes depending on type, or in the oven.
  6. 6After initial cooking, carefully open packets, add salmon on top, season, drizzle with remaining sour cream mixture, and reseal.
  7. 7Cook for an additional 10 minutes in fire/oven. Serve with lemon and dill.

Camp tips

  • • Cook packets over coals, not flames.
  • • Double wrap food in foil for moisture retention.
  • • Cook potatoes first, then add salmon.
  • • Use tongs to handle hot packets carefully.
