One row per gear item per contestant: series, season, filming location, air year, contestant, age at filming, gender, hometown, country, placement, days survived, outcome, exit reason, item position, and item name.

Where does the data come from?

Season cast lists, on-screen 10-item reveals, History Channel contestant materials, and contestant interviews, normalized so naming variants (felling axe vs hatchet) count as one item.

How often does it update?

It is generated live from our contestant database, so new episodes, tap-outs, and corrected item lists appear in the CSV, the JSON API, and on this page as soon as they are entered.

Questions about the data

Can I republish figures from the Alone Contestant Dataset?: Yes. It is published under CC BY 4.0. Use any number, table, or chart as long as you credit The Wild10 and link back to https://wild10.com/alone/dataset.
What is in each row?: One row per gear item per contestant: series, season, filming location, air year, contestant, age at filming, gender, hometown, country, placement, days survived, outcome, exit reason, item position, and item name.
Where does the data come from?: Season cast lists, on-screen 10-item reveals, History Channel contestant materials, and contestant interviews, normalized so naming variants (felling axe vs hatchet) count as one item.
How often does it update?: It is generated live from our contestant database, so new episodes, tap-outs, and corrected item lists appear in the CSV, the JSON API, and on this page as soon as they are entered.
