Ten survivalists are dropped along the remote east arm of Great Slave Lake in Canadas Northwest Territories for a new format in which the goal is to last 100 days rather than simply outlast rivals. Contestants scramble to build shelter and establish water and fire sources as the harsh boreal terrain immediately tests their planning.

With two contestants already gone, the remaining participants push deeper into survival routines, hunting small game and reinforcing shelters against the elements. Keith Syers battles worsening food poisoning and infection that ultimately proves too serious to continue.

Predators become a growing concern as wolves are spotted near camps, adding danger to already depleted survivors. Kielyn Marrone, suffering severe starvation after 80 days, is unable to continue in the competition.

With only a handful of contestants remaining, frostbite and prolonged malnutrition take a severe toll. Callie Russell develops frostbite in her toes and is medically evacuated after 89 days, finishing as runner-up.

In the season finale, Roland Welker becomes the last person still in the wilderness, reaching the 100-day milestone that defines this seasons unique win condition. His endurance and hunting success secure him the $1,000,000 prize as the sole surviving contestant.
