Every episode

  • Ten contestants are dropped along the remote Big River in Nunatsiavut, northern Labrador, facing dense boreal forest and harsh weather from the outset. The group immediately begins building shelters and securing food sources in one of the shows toughest climates.

  • Contestants adjust to Labradors unpredictable conditions, working to establish reliable trapping and fishing routines. Early missteps in shelter-building and food gathering begin to shape each survivors trajectory.

  • The wilderness takes its toll as two contestants exit the game. Jacques Turcotte departs after missing his family, while Igor Limansky leaves due to heart palpitations and exhaustion.

  • Survivors work to diversify their food sources, targeting beaver and other game to combat mounting hunger. Benji Hill is medically evacuated after contracting a giardia infection from contaminated water.

  • With half the field still in the wilderness, contestants continue refining their shelters and food preservation methods against Labradors shifting weather. The physical and emotional toll of the extended isolation becomes more apparent.

  • Small game hunting proves crucial as larger prey remains scarce for the remaining survivors. Terry Burns, dealing with low body mass and a parasitic infection, is medically evacuated from the game.

  • Two more contestants leave the competition in this stretch. Tom Garstang departs after injuring his back and knee in a fall, while Jessie Krebs is medically evacuated due to stomach inflammation.

  • As food scarcity intensifies, the remaining survivors face difficult decisions about how much longer they can endure. Adam Riley, worn down by prolonged starvation, ultimately taps out of the competition.

  • Dropping temperatures and icing conditions add new challenges for the contestants still in the game. Teimojin Tan, missing his family after two months alone, decides to end his run.

  • With only a few contestants remaining, the encroaching winter conditions push endurance to its limits. The survivors continue rationing dwindling supplies while bracing for the final stretch of the competition.

  • In the finale, Karie Lee Knoke succumbs to starvation and exhaustion after 75 days, leaving Juan Pablo Quinonez as the sole remaining contestant. Quinonez is declared the winner after reaching day 78 in the Labrador wilderness.
